These additions will significantly expand the customization options for our contour shuttle integration, enabling operators to fine-tune it to their liking.

When users upload a video file to Studio the system transcodes the file and optimizes it for the web and our streaming platform. This happens in the background automatically. Optimizing the file for playback on the web helps avoid hiccups caused by higher-resolution files meant to be played on larger screens. So, we have added a visual indicator to uploaded files so that our Hosts know when they can add that video to the stage and enjoy seamless playback.

Additionally, users are now allowed to retry the transcoding process if any errors occur. Which, is most often caused by errors in the files encoding or bad meta data.

We have spent the last several months refining the virtual video mixer that runs all Studio instances. This is a fully behind-the-scenes improvement but stability in streams and recordings is significantly improved.

We have added additional restrictions to users without Showcaller permissions. Read-only, Contributor, and Admin level users will continue to have access to the Director View but they will not be able to impact any of the live elements on Stage.

Under certain circumstances related to a deleted sources, placeholders, or media an affected scene's thumbnail was either not re-generated or re-generated incorrectly. These issues have been addressed and optimizations to the thumbnail generation logic have been made.

When a Speaker requests entry into a Studio the Host/Director receives a knock request. that knock request attempts to automatically map a Speaker to their placeholder based on their name. This could cause an issue if two users of the same first or last name requested entry at the same time.

This has been fixed and the overall auto-mapping logic improved.

Under rare circumstances the WebRTC service provider would could error out or expire for an active meeting. This would cause some members of that meeting to no longer hear or see each other. We now automatically create a new instance and move all participants into is. This all happens in the background requiring no action from the user.

There was an issue with Page Breaks in PDF Export when the rundown being exported contained a column set to Script Width. This has been addressed and PDF Export now works as before.
